National Institutional Ranking Framework(NIRF): A base for selecting the TOP College
Many of the students have a dream to study in India’s Top College in his dream subject like Engineering, Medicine, Law, Architecture ,Research etc. But knowing which is the Top College is little bit tough and also creates confusion. How to select a Top and good college? Shall we depend on friends and family member’s opinion only or to depend on Senior’s opinion?
How to select a Top and Good College? Is there any rational method ?
In order to give a solution for the universal doubt of Which is the Top College, Government of India developed a National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF). This framework outlines a methodology to rank institutions across the country based on certain parameters recommended by the Core Committee set up by MHRD in 2015.

- Research and Professional Practices
- Graduation Outcomes
- Outreach and Inclusivity
- Perception
NIRF publishes the list of top ranked institutes in various categories and disciplines every year. Number of colleges participating in the NIRF survey is increasing year by year. NIRF Published the Ranks in 2022 in the following categories
